My eighth book, Snapshot Existence, is now available for purchase in digital and paperback form from Amazon. In fact, it’s been available since July 2019, but rather than focusing on marketing, I immediately moved on to the next project (several projects, actually). However, that’s just the point I’ve reached in my life—wanting to focus my efforts on finishing things instead of promoting what is already done; there’s so much inside me that I want to get out and complete.
I truly feel Snapshot Existence is the best book I’ve written thus far, being very personal to me and complex in execution. It is a science fiction drama revolving around an extra-terrestrial family on a planet where the inhabitants’ culture has been greatly influenced by observations of Earth. Furthermore, it is very existential in nature, centering on a main character whose soul becomes trapped in a void in which his only view out comes via photographs located in the houses of his loved ones. It is from these vantage points where the story unfolds, offering him a glimpse of a once tight-knit family unit deteriorating.
I wanted Snapshot Existence to pack an emotional punch, one readers can relate to, thereby hitting deeper and resonating more than any book I’ve previously written. I am confident that goal was achieved.
